Art by Ranmali showcases a selection of original paintings by Ranmali Joshi. Ranmali draws much of her inspiration from the many countries she’s lived in and travelled to. She was born on the island of Sri Lanka and spent part of her childhood on the African continent, in Zambia and Kenya. She often travels to the Caribbean and Mediterranean to fuel the inspiration for her artwork.

Her work falls primarily into three categories: African landscapes (depicting the ever changing seasons, wildlife and fauna) , Seascapes ( capturing it’s constantly changing form) and Nature (capturing changing seasons).

The artwork that she produces aims to create a sense of peace, tranquility, harmony and well-being. Ranmali now lives in London. Her combined childhood memories of distant places, recent travels and the influences of the turning seasons in England enable her to produce an interesting and varied collection of paintings.

Ranmali’s painting, “The Arrival of the Long Rains in the Serengeti” is currently displayed at the Royal Academy 2022 Summer Exhibition.
